1. By this petition, the petitioner seeks to challenge the order dated 9th April, 2018 passed by respondent no.1 - Collector, Pune pursuant to the report dated 31st March, 2018 made by respondent no.2. The grievance of the petitioner is that two enumeration blocks which were comprising village Avasari have been included in Gawdewadi as a result of which several persons are deprived to their right to vote in Gawdewadi village. He submits that if the election process is allowed to proceed it will result in grave injustice to the voters comprising two blocks which are now part of the village Gawdewadi.

2. It is not in dispute that these very voters have already exercised their right to vote in elections that took place in 2015. In the circumstances we find no reason to entertain this belated challenge. The election programme has already been declared on 27th April, 2018 and polling is scheduled on 28th May, 2018.
