The applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in crime no. 144 of 2022 registered with Wanwadi police station for the offence punishable under sections 420 r/w. 34 of IPC and u/s. 12(a) of the Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act, 1887. 3.

The prosecution case is, the applicant was found gambling and as such committed offence referred above. 4.

This Court on 09/06/2022 has already recorded reasons while granting ad-interim protection.

Admittedly, there are no antecedents against the applicant akn 1/2

2/2 26.ABA.1420.2022.doc and the offence under the provisions of Maharashtra Race-Courses Licensing Act so also Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act is bailable.

In this background, ad-interim protection ordered by this Court stands confirmed.

The applicant shall attend the Investigating OfÏcer from 26/09/2022 to 29/09/2022 between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and thereafter as and when directed.

The applicant shall neither tamper with evidence nor influence the witnesses in any way.

9.

The application stands disposed of.
