By this application, the applicant seeks condonation of delay of 11 years and 248 days caused in filing the aforesaid appeal. Wakodikar 1/2

Perused the application. It appears that the applicant is convicted and sentenced by the learned Sessions Judge vide Judgment and Order dated 16th June, 2012. It appears that the applicant being illiterate, was not aware of his rights. It also appears that the applicant had severe financial constraints and as such, could not engaged an Advocate. It is also stated in the application that the applicant's mental condition was not proper, due to which, he could not engaged an Advocate.

For the reasons set out in the application filed through the Legal Services Authority, the application is allowed and delay of 11 years and 248 days, caused in filing the aforesaid appeal is condoned. 5.

The application is accordingly disposed of.
