The challenge in this petition, is to the order dated 01.03.2017 passed by the learned Deputy Director of Land Records, Pune Division, Pune thereby refusing to grant interim relief during the pendency of Appeal No. 202 of 2016. 2.

The record discloses that even in this petition, there is no interim relief operating. Thus, petitioner is without any interim relief for more than 5 years.

Faced with this, the learned counsel for the Petitioner on instructions states that the appeal which is pending before the Deputy Director of Land Records be expedited. 4.

In that view of the matter, the petition is disposed of. 5.

The learned Deputy Director of Land Records shall decide Appeal No. 202 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from the receipt hereof. 6.

Needless to mention that this Court has not examined merits of the matter, which are left open.
