This is an application seeking condonation of delay of 57 days in preferring an appeal against the judgment and award avk 1/3

dated 20th December 2013 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Raigad-Alibaug, in Motor Accident Claim Petition No.219 of 2006. Mr.D.R.Mahadik, learned Counsel for Appellant/ Applicant draws the attention of this Court to paragraphs 2 and 3 of the said application in support of his contention to condone the delay.

Mr.Mendon, learned Counsel for Respondent-claimants has no particular objection but submits that since this is a claim of 2006 and the claimants are old parents of the deceased, the First Appeal be expeditiously heard.

Having heard the learned counsel and having perused the application and the reasons stated for the delay, let the delay of 57 days be condoned. Let the Appeal be registered. 4.

The application stands disposed.
