The first bail application was withdrawn on 18 March 2024. The Court had passed the following order :

"1.Learned Counsel for the Applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the application.

2. Leave granted.

3. Application stands dismissed as withdrawn.

4. It is stated that the applicant has been in custody since 23rd December 2022. Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the trial may be expedited.

5. Learned Special Judge is requested to make an endeavour to commence and complete the trial as expeditiously as possible." 3.
