This is an application for extension of temporary bail granted by this Court vide order dated 2nd June 2021. This Court had directed release of applicant on temporary bail since the wife of applicant had passed away. He was directed to surrender to custody of Thane Central Prison on 17th day from the date of release of him. 2.
Learned counsel for applicant submits that the applicant was actually released on 11th June 2021 and in view of the directions of the Court, the applicant is supposed to surrender before Jail Authorities today. It is submitted that there is no one to look after his minor daughter after death of his wife and the applicant needs to find suitable accommodation for his daughter. Hence, temporary bail may be extended by a period of one week from today. 3.
Learned APP submitted that temporary bail was granted to the
2 of 2 11.IA.1652.2021.doc applicant on account of death of his wife. Further extension need not be granted to him.

Considering the submissions of learned counsel for applicant, extension as prayed for can be granted for a period of one week. Hence, I pass following order :
ORDER
(i) Temporary bail granted by this Court vide order dated 2nd June 2021 is extended by one week from today;
(ii) The applicant shall surrender himself to the custody of Superintendent of Jail, Thane Central Jail on 5th July 2021; (iii) Conditions stipulated in order dated 2nd June 2021 shall remain in operation;
(iv) No further extension of temporary bail will be granted to applicant;
(v) Interim Application stand disposed of.
