This is an application for extension of temporary bail granted to the applicant. The applicant was granted bail by order dated 28th January 2021 for a period of eight weeks. Subsequently the temporary bail was extended vide order dated 1st April 2021 for three months.

The applicant is relying upon medical case papers indicating that applicant is suffering from chronic liver disease, SBP, hepatic Encephalopathy and portal Hypertension, and his present MELD score is 14 and is required to follow up treatment and under surveillance.

The applicant is aged about 71 years. Considering the submissions and case papers, temporary bail granted to the applicant can be further extended by a period of three months from today.

ORDER

(i) Interim Application is allowed and disposed of; (ii) Interim bail granted to the applicant vide order dated 28th January 2021 shall continue for three months from 1st July 2021; (iii) On completion of three months the applicant shall surrender before jail authorities.
