The Faraskhana Police Station registered Crime No.81/2022 against the applicant and three others for

Rane 2/3 909-ABA-1442-2022.odt performing Lavani (Marathi Folk Dance) inside the historical premises of "Lal Mahal". Prosecution case is that, the act of the applicant has hurt the sentiments of a particular community. Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that, the applicant during the live session on social media, apologised for the dance shoot.

In consideration of the facts of the case and further the offence under Section 186 of the Indian Penal Code being bailable offence and offence under Section 295 of the Indian Penal Code is punishable with imprisonment for two years, a case is made, out for granting ad-interim protection till the applicant's application below Exhibit-4 in Criminal Bail Application No.3471/2022 is decided by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pune. Thus, in the event of arrest of the applicant in Crime No.81/2022 registered with Faraskhana Police Station, he shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rs. Twenty Thousand only) with one or more local sureties in the like amount.

Applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer

Applicant shall furnish his residential address, as well as, permanent address and contact details to the investigating officer within a week;

Applicant shall not tamper with the evidence or attempt to influence or contact the complainant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case;

Application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.

It is made clear that observations made hereinabove be construed as expression of opinion only for the purpose of granting bail and the same shall not in any way NEETA SHAILESH SAWANT influence the trial in other proceedings.
