The applicant was granted bail vide order dated 16th December 2020. One of the condition for bail was that the applicant shall deposit Rs.30 lakh before the Trial Court within a period of two months from the date of release. The said condition was imposed in view of an undertaking dated 6th August 2020 filed by applicant in this Court stating that without prejudice to his rights and defense the applicant is willing to deposit Rs.30 lakh.

Learned counsel for applicant submits that the applicant has been actually released on bail on 7th May 2021 and in view of the condition to deposit the amount, the time to deposit the amount would come to an end on 7th July 2021. It is submitted that on account of several difficulties the applicant could not make arrangements for depositing the said amount. The time to deposit the amount may be extended by three months.

Considering the submissions, time to deposit the amount of Rs.30 lakh stipulated in order dated 16th December 2020 is extended by three months from today. The Interim Application stand disposed of.
