P.C.
We are not at the cause projected by the petitioner but the manner of projecting the cause. The petitioner has been filing multifarious public interest litigations in this Court without proper research. In the petition, grievance is to coaching institutions imparting coaching to students in the State of Maharashtra in buildings which petitioner claims do not have necessary clearance
2 20.101.18 pil.doc under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Act, 2006. No particulars of any coaching institutions has been shown. The petitioner states that he sought information under the Right to Information Act and got response that there is no record pertaining coaching institution having applied for the necessary fire clearance. Suffice it to state under the Law a coaching institution need not seek fire clearance permission. For a building which is used for commercial purpose or activity the owner has to apply for and obtain necessary fire clearance certificate. Thus, the petitioner ought to have sought information pertaining to fire clearance obtained by owners of commercial buildings.
We cannot proceed ahead with the writ petition. Writ petition is dismissed.
