The Petitioner is a Journalist and has filed over 30 Public Interest Petitions in this Court. He knows the rules of drafting Petitions. He knows the procedure of this Court.

In the instant Petition it is pleaded by the Petitioner that to give effect to the mandate to the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, the Government of Maharashtra has provided for a quota in private schools where children, whose parents are economically backward, have to be given admission and the expenses towards education, as determined by the Government, is paid to the management of the schools. The grievance is that as a result of funds not being made available to the schools they are not admitting children in the school under the quota.

These are generic averments without any specific case. Not a school is referred to where a child was denied admission in the quota prescribed on account of management taking the stand that the Government had not released the funds.

The Petition is dismissed.
