By a detailed order dated 15.07.2021, the Applicant was granted interim protection, inter alia, on condition that the Applicant shall deposit Rs.2 lakhs before this Court. 2.

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the parties, it appears that the dispute is of a monetary nature and the amount involved is about Rs. 5 lakhs and odd. The learned counsel for the Applicant and the Respondent/Complainant state that they had made an attempt to amicably settle the dispute and the Applicant has agreed to pay the balance amount of Rs.3 lakhs within 2 months from today.

The learned counsel for the Applicant on instructions states that Applicant shall deposit Rs.3 lakhs before this Court within 2 months from today. Statement so made is accepted. 4.

The Applicant has also reported to the Investigating Officer and has co-operated with the investigation.

In such circumstances, the criminal application is disposed of in terms of order dated 15.07.2021, which is hereby made absolute. The amount of Rs.2 lakhs deposited before this Court along with interest, if any, shall be paid to the Respondent No.2 on proper identification.
