Heard Ms. Khairnar, learned Counsel for the Applicant and Ms. Kaushik, learned APP for the Respondent - State. 2.

This Interim Application is preferred by the Applicant seeking the relief of release of the Applicant on a temporary bail for a period of 15 days to attend the marriage of his daughter. 3.

However, Ms. Kaushik, learned APP vehemently opposes the Interim Application on the ground that there are antecedents. She submitted that the Applicant has committed the present offence when he was released on parole while incarcerated in an earlier offence. She further submitted that if the Applicant deposits Police Escort charges as per rules then the Applicant, who is lodged in Nashik Road Central Prison, can be taken in an escort to attend the wedding of his daughter.

Accordingly, the following order is passed.

O R D E R (i) The Applicant - Harishchandra Kashinath Bhandare is granted liberty to attend the wedding of his daughter on 05.05.2024 with police escort. For this purpose, the Applicant be taken from the Nashik Road Central Prison with Police escort to Nandgaon - Sado, Taluka - Igatpuri, District - Nashik and he shall be brought back to the Nashik Road Central Prison on the same day. The Jail Authorities and other concerned Authorities to faciliate the travel and Police escort in such a manner that the Applicant reaches the venue of his daughter's wedding at about 2.00 p.m. and he remains there till 7.30 p.m.;

(ii) Above order is subject to the Applicant depositing requisite charges as per rules with the Igatpuri Police Station, District - Nashik by 4.00 p.m. of 04.05.2024;

(iii) The Applicant is permitted to remain present at the venue of his daughter's wedding between 2.00 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.. 5.

The Interim Application stands disposed of.

Stand over to 07.05.2024 for reporting compliance of this order.
