By a reasoned Order dated 12.10.2017, the applicant was granted interim relief.

In the said Order, my Predecessor in title (Shri. A.K.Menon, J.) has observed that, having considered the facts of the case, this Court was not convinced that custodial interrogation of the applicant is necessary. The said order is still in force.

Learned APP on instructions submitted that, the investigation of the present crime is practically completed.

In view of the above, the interim relief granted by an Order dated 12.10.2017 is hereby confirmed. However, the applicant is directed to attend the investigating officer as and when called for between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and to join the process of investigation. It is needless to mention that, before calling the applicant to the police station, the concerned Investigating Officer shall issue a notice under Section 160 of Cr.PC.
