Since the order passed is innocuous, service to other respondents is dispensed with. Against an order passed under section 88 of the said Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, an appeal under section 152 of the said Act before the State Government being Appeal No.2015/299/15S is informed to be
2 18) WP6446-19.doc pending. The petitioner society has moved an intervention application therein with a request to grant interim relief. It is informed to be not yet decided till date.

Be that as it may, it will be appropriate in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice to direct the State Government to decide the Appeal No.2015/299/15S as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six months from today. 4.
Needless to state that while deciding the said appeal, the State Government should also deal with the intervention application preferred by the Society.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid directions.

Learned AGP to communicate the said order to the State Government.
