1] It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the appellant that as per the letter dated 24th June 2016 issued by the Municipal Corporation, the appellant has approached the Executive Engineer, Building Proposal Department for obtaining approval for structural repairs. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the appellant on oral instructions of the Chairman of the society who is present in court today, that after obtaining approval from the authorities, structural repairs have been started. The appellant also undertakes that if any mishap occurs causing loss of life or property, the Corporation shall not be held responsible.
