This is an application under Section 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure for bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No.696 of 2019 registered at Nashik Road Police Station, Nashik for the ofences punishable under Sections 8(C), 20(C) and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

The learned APP submits that the trial is almost over. Considering this fact, I am not inclined to entertain the present application and the same is rejected.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail for more than 3 and 1⁄2 years. Considering this fact, the trial Court shall endeavour to conclude the trial, as early as possible.
