The learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that, the Applicant is in custody since 22nd January 2020. Charge is framed in the said matter. Hence direction be given to the Trial Court to expedite the trial.

As the Applicant is in jail more than 3 and 1⁄2 years. Hence Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial as early as possible, preferably within one year.
