Petition is filed seeking direction to Respondent No. 2 to register an FIR on the basis of complaint dated 2nd May 2017. The said complaint is annexed at Exhibit-H. Perusal of it shows that it is given on the letterhead of the Petitioner's lawyer. Thus, the procedure under section 154(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is not complied with. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. The same is accordingly dismissed. 2.

The Petitioner is however at liberty to approach JJ Marg Police Station and file report under section 154(1) of the Code in respect of the grievance made in the present writ petition. In the event, such a report is filed by the Petitioner, JJ Marg Police Station shall go through the same, hold a preliminary enquiry and take patilsr 1 / 2

appropriate action and communicate the same to the Petitioner. This exercise shall be completed by JJ Marg Police Station within seven days of receipt of report from the Petitioner.
