ORDER :

By this Interim Application, the Applicants/Petitioners are seeking the extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal and / or the time limit for the Arbitral Award. By order dated 21st September, 2022, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal had been further extended by a period of six months from the date of said order. The period of 6 months expired on 21st March, 2023.

The counsel for the parties have consented to the further extension of the mandate. It is necessary to note that the learned Arbitrator had been appointed by order dated 12th July, 2018 in Arbitration Appeal (L) No.19681 of 2018 and the mandate was initially for a period of six months for conclusion of the arbitral proceedings. There had been further extensions for the conclusion of arbitral proceedings. Now, as and by way of last chance, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of six months from today.

The counsel for the parties shall inform the learned Arbitrator of this order.
