P.C. :- This Contempt Petition has been filed by the Petitioner, who was Petitioner in Criminal PIL St. No. 22 of 2013, praying for action under the Contempt of Courts Act against the Respondents for breach of the directions of this Court.

The Division Bench of this Court, while disposing of the Public Interest Litigation filed by the Petitioner, directed the Respondents to decide the representation/application submitted by the Petitioner on 30.10.2012. This Court directed that the representation be decided in accordance with law as expeditiously as was possible and preferably

CP 592.14.sxw within 10 weeks from the date of the order and also directed the Respondents to communicate the decision thereon to the Petitioner.

Since the representation/application filed by the Petitioner was not decided within the period stipulated by this Court, the present Contempt Petition has been filed. 4.

The Respondents, pursuant to the notice issued by this Court has filed an affidavit of Shri Minaj Gani Mulla, SubDivisional Officer, Man Khatav (Dahiwadi) holding the additional charge of Phaltan Sub-Division, Phaltan, District - Satara. In the affidavit-in-reply it is stated that the representation filed by the Petitioner was decided on 30.4.2015 and the decision thereon has been communicated to the Petitioner. An apology is tendered for the delay which is occasioned in complying with the directions of this Court. 5.

In the light of the affidavit and in the light of the substantial compliance of the order of this Court, in our opinion, this is not a fit case for taking action against the Respondents under the Contempt of Courts Act. 6.

We, accordingly, dismiss this Contempt Petition. Notice under the Contempt of Courts Act stands discharged. (A.S. GADKARI, J.) (P.V. HARDAS, J.)
