The applicant is seeking modification of the order granting bail passed by this Court on 26 September, 2016. The applicant was directed to be released on bail on furnishing PR Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount. 2.

Learned advocate for the applicant submits that the in spite of attempts to arrange the local sureties, the applicant could not succeed in doing so. The applicant, therefore, continued to be in custody.

Learned advocate for the applicant therefore submits that the condition no.1 may be relaxed to the extent that instead of solvent local sureties, the applicant may be permitted to furnish one or more solvent sureties from the State of Maharashtra. 4.

Taking into consideration the circumstances, that the applicant is languishing in custody in spite of bail being granted, the condition is modified as follows.

The applicant is permitted to furnish one or two solvent local sureties from the State of Maharashtra instead of one or two solvent local sureties. The other conditions will remain same. 6.

The present application is disposed of.
