Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

By this application, the applicants seek pre-arrest bail in connection with C.R. No.I-319 of 2016 registered with the Kasarvadavali Police Station, Thane, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498A, 406, 420 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Perused the papers. The applicant Nos.1 and 2 are the married sisters-in-law of the complainant (respondent no.2) - Nilima Mahesh Ahluwalia, and applicant No.3 is the friend of complainant's husband. The complainant was married to the applicant Nos.1 and 2's brother on 8th February, 2014. It was a love marriage. It is alleged by the complainant that after marriage there were unlawful demands of money made by the complainant's husband and applicant Nos.1 and 2. The complainant has alleged that applicant Nos.1 and 2 had suppressed the fact, that their brother was married prior to his marriage with the complainant and hence by suppression of previous marriage of their brother, they had cheated the complainant. As far as applicant No.3 is concerned, she is the friend of the complainant's husband and is not related to the applicant's husband. 4.

Considering the nature of allegations, custodial interrogation of the applicants is not required. Accordingly the application is allowed and the applicants are granted pre-arrest bail on the following terms and conditions :

ORDER

(i) In the event of the arrest, the applicants be enlarged on bail on

3/3 executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each, with one or two sureties in the like amount ;

(ii) The applicants shall report to the Investigating Officer of the concerned Police Station as and when called, till the filing of the charge-sheet or for a period of three months from today, whichever is earlier.

The Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed of.

It is made clear, that the observations made herein are prima facie and are confined to this application.
