Faced with the allegation of illegal gratification under the Prevention of Corruption Act, the appellant was tried and convicted. The learned Special Judge, Satara, in Special Case No. 1 of 2013, through judgment dated 23.12.2015, sentenced the applicant, among other things, to one year's rigorous imprisonment. This Court on 27.01.2016 suspended the sentence and enlarged the applicant on bail. One of the bail conditions is that the applicant should appear before the Special Court, Satara, once in six months. And that was the condition 1/2

2. Now the applicant has applied for the relaxation of that condition.

3. As the applicant is or was a public servant and as the appeal has already been admitted, I reckon that condition can be dispensed with. Accordingly, condition no. (iv) in order dated 27.01.2016, stands deleted prospectively. [DAMA SESHADRI NAIDU, J.] 2/2
