Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, the learned AGP for the first Respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second and third Respondents.

By this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the challenge is to the order passed by the first Respondent Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee dated 16th May 2017.
sng wp-6126.17 The said order has been passed on an Application made by the present Petitioner on the same date. The Application proceeds on the footing that an affidavit-in-lieu of the examination-in-chief has been filed on behalf of the second and third Respondents. The said application has been rejected by the impugned order.

The learned counsel appearing for the second and third Respondents on instructions states that the said Respondents have not filed any such affidavitin-lieu of the examination-in-chief and that they do not propose to file any such affidavit. He pointed out that in fact, the second Respondent has filed written submissions, a copy of which has been filed and annexed at Exhibit-A to the Petition.

We accept the statement of the second and third Respondents. In view of this statement, it is not necessary to entertain this Petition. Accordingly, the Petition is disposed of.
