Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioners in both these petitions are working with the Respondent- University and some of them have now retired. It is their grievance that even though they have put long years of
skn 2 28 and 60-WP-137.2024--.doc service, they have been paid out of University fund and also no provision is made for the pensionary benefits. In that regard, the Petitioners have made request to the Respondent- University, however, there is no response from the Respondent- University regarding the same.

In these circumstances, we are of the opinion that it would be appropriate that the Petitioners through their representatives submit a comprehensive representation to the Respondent- University. The Respondent- University, upon receipt of representation, will call the representatives of the Petitioners and give audience to them. If any order beneficial to the Petitioners is to be passed, the Respondent- University will proceed to pass the same. If the relief cannot be granted to the Petitioners, then the Respondent- University will pass a reasoned order with copy thereof to the Petitioners. If any adverse decision is taken by the Respondent- University, it is open to the Petitioners to challenge the same by adopting such appropriate remedy. The learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that a comprehensive representation will be submitted by the Petitioners within a period of four weeks. The Respondent- University will take decision within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
