Learned APP upon instructions submits that the trial has commenced and the prosecution has recorded substantive evidence of four witnesses. In view of this, it would not be appropriate to consider the subsequent application on merits. However, the learned Sessions Court, Thane shall take into consideration the fact that the applicant is arrested on 13/6/2014 and expedite the trial without granting any unwarranted adjournments to the prosecution and also ensure that the applicant is produced on each an every stipulated date before the trial court. The application stands dismissed and disposed of accordingly.
