Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners in both the Petitions. The general ward election of Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation is scheduled to be held on 14th June, 2015. The challenge in the Petitions is to the orders dated 30th May, 2015 passed by the Returning Officer by which nomination papers of the Petitioners have

wp-5020,5019.15.sxw been rejected. In view of the constitutional mandate, at this stage, no interference is called for with the process of election. Remedy of the Petitioners is to challenge the result of the election in accordance with law. Accordingly, the Petitions cannot be entertained and the same are disposed of. All remedies of the Petitioners are kept open. All contentions on merits are kept open.
