This is an application for extention of provisional cash bail for a period of 12 weeks from today to enable the applicants to furnish sureties in the trial Court. 2.

The applicants were granted bail by this Court (Coram: Prakash D. Naik, J.) in Criminal Bail Application No.1337/2020 vide order dated 9.3.2021. The applicants were permitted to furnish provisional cash bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for a period of eight weeks in lieu of surety. That

29.IA-1695-21.odt period has come to an end but the applicants were unable to furnish sureties within that time as required. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicants submitted that considering the lockdown and prevailing pandemic situation it was not possible for the applicants to furnish the sureties within the stipulated period. He submitted that the time to furnish the sureties may be extended. 4.

Considering this submission, I am inclined to extend that period by 12 weeks more. Hence the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Time to furnish the sureties is extended by 12 weeks from today. Rest of the conditions mentioned in the order dated 9.3.2021 are retained as they are. Interim Application is disposed of accordingly.
