The applicant is lodged in Sangli District Prison. According to the applicant, he seeks bail on compassionate ground. He was absconding. The applicant was released on bail in Criminal Application No. 190 of 2007 in Crime No. 12 of 2007. Thereafter the charge-sheet was filed. The applicant had absconded. That the trial was separated and sessions case was decided by the judgment and order dated 21st August 2017 wherein one of the co-accused Santosh Tevare has been acquitted. Pursuant to this order, the applicant has been arrested. It cannot be said that the court can have any confidence in the applicant that he would make himself available at the time of trial.
