1] By an Order dated 26th May 2017, the applicant was granted interim relief and was directed to attend the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates.

2] Perused the record of investigation.

The record indicates that, the applicant is wife of Vikas Manjrekar. It reveals that all the serious allegations in the present crime are against Vikas Manjrekar i.e. with respect to manufacturing and/or creating bogus Leave and Licence Agreement, presenting it before the Competent Authority for getting favourable Order and thereafter taking possession of the property in question.

aba.939-2017.doc 3] It prima facie appears that, except the applicant is a wife of the said Vikas Manjrekar and at the most the role attributed to her is that she is the co-owner of the property, no overt act is attributed to her and no other role is revealed in the investigation till date. In view thereof, the applicant can be protected by pre-arrest bail.

4] In view of the above, interim relief granted by an Order dated 26th May 2017 is confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer is hereby waived.
