By an order dated 29.5.2017 the applicants were granted interim relief.

It is the prosecution case in nut shell that, co-accused Dinesh Mistry who was acting as an Estate Agent accepted Rs.2,36,000/- towards deposit from the first informant for giving a room on leave and licence basis for a period of 11-months which was owned by Shri. Suresh Lorekar. That, the applicants are Managing Committee Members of the Chawl Committee wherein the said room is owned by Suresh Lorekar. The record indicates that the Trial Court in its order dated 6.5.2017 has observed that the first informant has received a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- from the landlord/accused. 11-aba-940-17 applicants are having no direct role to play in the present crime. In view thereof, the applicants can be protected by pre arrest bail. 3.
The interim relief granted by an order dated 29.5.2017 is hereby confirmed.
