The applicant seeks extension of time for furnishing surety and cash security as stipulated in the order dated 25th April, 2017. In the said order it was directed that the applicant is at liberty to furnish cash surety of Rs.5,00,000/-, in lieu of bail bond, only for a period of one month. During the said period of one month, the applicant was directed to furnish bail bond of
rpa 2/2 appa-778-17.doc Rs.5,00,000/-. The applicant has been released on bail on depositing cash surety of Rs.5,00,000/-. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that the surety has already been offered by the applicant and the verification of the surety is in process. In view of the circumstances, the applicant prays that the time stipulated in paragraph 121 of the order dated 24th April, 2017 may be extended.
Learned counsel for the respondents have stated that he has no objection for extension of time as prayed for by the applicant. Hence, we pass the following order: :: O R D E R ::
(i) The time stipulated in paragraph 121 of the order dated 25th April, 2017 is extended for a further period of four weeks from today;
(ii) The application stands disposed of accordingly.
