Criminal Writ Petition No. 1583 of 2020 filed by the Petitioner impugning the Order rejecting his application for furlough leave was allowed by this Court by its Judgment dated 5th April 2021. In view thereof, the grievance of the Petitioner that his Petition for consideration for furlough leave is still pending, does not survive.

Learned A.P.P., on instructions from Senior Jailor, Kolhapur Central Prison, Kalamba, submitted that, in pursuance of Order dated 5th April 2021, the Petitioner was released on furlough leave from 19th May 2021 till 8th June 2021. That the Petitioner reported back to the Jail Authority on 9th June 2021.

In view of above, present Interim Application does not survive and is accordingly disposed off.
