By this petition the petitioner has sought quashing of notice dated 05/08/2020 whereby he was required to remain present on 14/08/2020. It is pointed out by Mr. H S Venegaonkar, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent-CBI that since the date specified in the impugned notice for appearance of the petitioner is already over, therefore, nothing survives in the present writ petition for consideration. We are in agreement with the aforesaid submission and it is clear that in so far as the impugned notice dated 05/08/2020 is concerned, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous with passage of time. lgc
