Petitioner and respondent no.2 are both jointly requesting for quashing of chargesheet filed on 20/08/2018 for the offences under section 376(2)(F)(N), 323 and 506 IPC. The FIR itself shows that during the course of the negotiations of marriage, the parties got acquainted with each other and also developed relationship which continued from 2008 till 2015. The FIR is filed thereafter on 18/08/2016. Respondent no.2 is now happily married and therefore, has given no objection. Respondent no.2 has filed her separate affidavit on the same lines. nilegaonkar 1/2

Learned APP points out that time of police machinery and public money has been lost in the matter.

In this situation, as nothing fruitful will come out of the matter, subject to petitioner and respondent no.2 paying cost of Rs.10,000/- each to Police Welfare Fund of respondent no.1 State within four weeks from today, we make the rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (a).
