P.C. :

Heard learned counsel for applicant. This is an application for time to furnish surety and to continue applicant on cash bail of Rs.15,000/- for further period of six weeks.

Learned counsel for applicant has submitted that this court while suspending substantive sentence imposed upon applicant has released him on bail as granted by learned trial court with fresh bond. Learned counsel for applicant makes a statement that applicant was avk 1/2

37-APPA-665-2016.doc released on cash bail of Rs.15,000/- with direction to furnish surety and he has accordingly furnished surety, but after verification, surety produced was disqualified. Applicant, therefore, prayed that he be continued on cash bail till above process of acceptance of surety produced by him afresh is complete.

Considering the fact that, applicant, on disqualification of first surety, has produced another surety, of whose verification is in process, application is liable to be allowed by continuing applicant on cash bail for a period of six weeks, within which time, process of acceptance of surety may be completed.
