This is an application for extension of provisional cash bail granted to the applicant vide order dated 18th April 2017. Heard both sides and perused the order dated 23rd February 2016 as well as 18th April 2017. By an order dated 18th April 2017, this Court had permitted the applicant to furnish cash security of Rs.1,00,000/- for the period of six weeks in order to get him released on bail.

The learned Advocate for the applicant submits that as Gaikwad RD 1/2

(501)APPPNo.4622017 the applicant is foreign national, he yet could not arrange for one or two solvent local securities for the sum of Rs.50,000/- as per order dated 23rd February 2016. It is further submitted that rest of the conditions for his release on bail have also been complied by the applicant.

The applicant is already released provisionally on furnishing cash security and as such, for the stated reasons, six more weeks are granted to the applicant to furnish sureties as directed by this Court vide order dated 23rd February 2016.
