Mr.Seervai, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.1 on instructions makes a statement that the respondent no.2 - Municipal Corporation has issued a show cause notice purporting to hold an Inquiry into the alleged allegations that have been made against this respondent by the petitioner. 2.

Once a show cause notice is issued on the basis of the allegations made by the petitioner, this grievance of the petitioner comes to an end. The enquiry will be concluded on its own merits 1/2

907-wp10489-18.doc and in accordance with law and we have no doubt that the Municipal Corporation will hold and conclude that enquiry as expeditiously as possible.

In view of this fair statement of Mr.Seervai, nothing survives in this writ petition. Needless to state that the statement made by Mr.Seervai is without prejudice to the rights and the contentions of the respondent no.1 who has also lodged Writ Petition (Lodging) No.556 of 2019.

The writ petition is disposed of.
