This is an application seeking provisional cash bail facility for the period of eight weeks. The applicant is directed to be released on bail by order passed by this Court on 24 April, 2017. As per the said order, the applicant is released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.50,000/- with one or two solvent sureties from Mumbai, Thane or Palghar in the like amount.

Learned advocate for the applicant submits that despite the fact that the order was passed on 24 April, 2017 the applicant could not avail of the bail facility. He submitted that the applicant had furnished the sureties. However, the trial Court has directed the police authorities to verify the genuineness of the Aadhar Card and Pan card. The applicant has continued to remain in custody. He 1/2

Vina k sr.917.appp.463.2017.doc further pointed out that the co-accused was granted bail by this Court by the same order, and he had preferred an application before this Court and in which by order dated 30 May, 2017, this court has permitted the said accused to furnish cash security of Rs. One lac for a period of eight weeks.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid circumstance, I am inclined to pass the following order;

:: ORDER ::

(i) Time to furnish surety as per direction of this Court vide order dated 24 April, 2017 in Bail Application No.1051 of 2016 is extended by eight weeks from today and till then the applicant / accused be released on furnishing cash security of Rs.One lakh.

(ii) The concerned police authorities are directed to submit the verification report with regard to Aadhar Card and Pan Card as expeditiously as possible preferably within four weeks before the trial Court.

(iii) Application stands disposed of.
