This is an application filed by the applicant through Jail seeking expeditiously disposal of his trial. The applicant has stated in the said application that even charge has not been framed till date. 2.

Learned Counsel for the applicant states that the case being MCOC Special Case No.10 of 2012 has not progressed. He therefore requests that in the interest of justice considering the fact that the applicant is languishing in jail, the trial be expedited.

Learned APP has produced a copy of the Roznama in the said case. It appears that charge was framed on 1st September, 2016 and that the matter is kept for compliance under Section 294 of Code of Criminal Procedure on 10th October, 2016. It also appears that this Court had expedited the trial of the applicant in an application preferred by the applicant.

Considering the fact that charge is framed and this Court had already expedited the trial of the applicant, no further orders are required in the present application.

The prosecution to take effective steps to ensure that the accused in the said case are produced on all the dates given by the trial Court.

The Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed of.

Registry to communicate the above order to the concerned Judge before whom the case is pending. A copy of the order to also be sent to the applicant, who is lodged in Mumbai Central Prison, Mumbai. 8.
