The only substantive prayer in this Petition is for challenging the notice dated 24th May, 2014 issued by the Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative Bank Limited under Sub-Section (2) of Section 13 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002. 2.

The Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative Bank Limited is a Multi-State Co-operative Society. A Writ will not lie against such a Cooperative Society. By keeping open the right of the Petitioners to take recourse to appropriate remedy, the Petition is disposed of. All the contentions of the parties on merits are kept open. (G.S. PATEL, J ) (A.S.
