1] This is an application for modification of condition No.2 imposed upon the applicant while releasing him on bail by the Additional Sessions Judge, Greater Mumbai by its Order dated 2.5.2018 in Criminal Bail Application No.711 of 2018.

By the said condition, the applicant has been directed to be released on bail on her execution of PB and SB of 25,000/- with one or two sureties.

2] The learned Counsel for the applicant submitted that, as a matter of fact the applicant had furnished surety, however, the same has been rejected by the concerned Court. That despite there being Order of 1/2

appln.256-2018.doc bail on merits in favour of the applicant, for about last three months the applicant is still languishing in jail and therefore prayed that the said condition may suitably be modified.

3] In view of the above and for the reasons stated in the application, I am inclined to modify the said condition and the applicant is directed to be released on cash bail of Rs.50,000/- for a period of 8 weeks from today. It is is made clear that, within the said period of 8 weeks, the applicant shall comply with condition imposed upon her by the Order dated 2.5.2018.
