Petitioner husband and his relatives along with respondent no. 2 complainant (wife) request for quashing of the FIR No. I-122 of 2017 registered under sections, 406, 506 r/w 34 of IPC with Kopri Police Station.

Respondent no.2 has also filed an affidavit accordingly today disclosing that she has received an amount of Rs. 9 lacs already and demand draft for the balance amount of Rs.4.50 lacs is handed over by the petitioner to her in Court. 3.

Parties have already filed proceedings for grant of decree of nilegaonkar 1/2

The allegations in the FIR show that on account of matrimonial discord and domestic situation, FIR was lodged. In the circumstances, we make the rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (b).
