This is an application for modification of the order dated 17/11/2020 granting anticipatory bail to the applicant in A.B.A. (ST) No.4881 of 2020.

I have heard Mr. Shabad Khopekar, learned counsel for the applicant and Smt. Tidke, learned APP for the State. 3.

The applicant wants clause (ii) of the said order to be modified. Vide that clause the applicant was directed to attend the concerned police station on fourth Saturday and Sunday of every month.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the order was passed on 17/11/2020 and the applicant has been diligently following this particular clause.

Learned APP does not dispute this fact.

In this view of the matter, such attendance, after more than 7 months, is not necessary. The applicant can be directed to attend the concerned police station as and when required. The applicant has already furnished sureties as directed by Clause (i). This is a statement made by learned counsel for the applicant, which is accepted.

Hence, the following order :

ORDER

(i) The order dated 17/11/2020 is modified and the Clause (ii) in paragraph No.11 is deleted.

(ii) It is made clear that the applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called. (iii) Rest of the clauses in the operative part of that order shall remain as they are.
