The order impugned in the petition has been passed by the Commissioner under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 against which petitioners have alternative statutory remedy of second revision application under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

Therefore, keeping all questions raised in the petition open to be agitated in second revision application, the petitioners are permitted to file second revision application. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of on the ground of availability of alternative statutory remedy.
