Heard the learned counsel for the parties. The Applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with the investigation of Crime No. 731 of 2020 of Police Station Kondhava, District Pune under Section 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of IPC.

The record discloses that this Court (Coram: Milind N. Jadhav, J) by a detailed order dated 20.11.2020 had granted interim protection to the Applicant. It can thus be seen that the interim protection is operating for more than 15 months now. Sneha Chavan page 1 of 2

The learned counsel for the Applicant on instructions states that the stridhan of the second Respondent shall be produced/handed over to the Investigating Officer. The statement so made is accepted.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, the criminal application is disposed of in terms of the order dated 20.11.2020 subject to the condition that the Applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer on 14.02.2022 between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and shall handover the stridhan, which is admittedly in possession of the Applicant. The Investigating Officer shall obtain the custody of the stridhan/ornaments as per the regular procedure. The Applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer as and when required and shall co-operate with the investigating agency and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence/witnesses.
