1] By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature thereof directing respondent Nos.4 and 5 to allot him a particular land, the description of which is to be found in prayer clause (a), at page 8 of the petition. That the petitioner claims to so entitled to it as he had to be rehabilitated on account of take over of his land for Koyna Dam Project.

2] This petition was filed on 5th May 2017.

3] During pendency of this petition, the District Collector Raigad passed an order dated 30th October 2017 specifically allotting to the petitioner a land more particularly described in the order of allotment.

DSS 920-wpl-14706-17.doc 4] On instructions, Mr. Patwardhan, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the petitioner is satisfied with this order of allotment. The grievance is, therefore, redressed.

5] On account of the statement made by Mr. Patwardhan, on instructions, nothing survives in the writ petition and it is disposed of as such. No order as to costs.

6] A copy of the order dated 30th October 2017 is marked as "X" for identification.
