It is informed that the Applicant would be completing his sentence on 20.04.2024. The learned Advocate for the Applicant submits that in the present case there is no sufficient evidence to convict the Applicant and the Application still requires hearing on merits. 2.

The learned Special Public Prosecutor points out that the Applicant is convicted in other 5 cases including 1 under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code, where he is suffering a life sentence. Shubham 1/2

This Court finds that since the Applicant is already suffering his life sentence in some other case that within 3 or 4 days he would be completing his sentence, no purpose will be served by considering this Application at such a stage. In the present case, the Court finds that the Appeal itself can be expedited.

Interim Application stands disposed of. As such Criminal Appeal No. 586 of 2021 is expedited.

The Applicant is at liberty to pray for expeditious hearing of the Appeal in the month of June-2024.
